We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make sure your first experience at Royse City Methodist Church is a great one!

Royse City Methodist Church worships every Sunday morning. Both services are in our historic Sanctuary.

Parking is available in all lots surrounding the church- we reserve spots just for guests in the parking lot facing Main Street/Hwy 66. You're also welcome to park along Josephine St, in the lot at the corner of Josephine & Main Street, along Church street, along Bell Street (between Wesley Hall and the Family Life Center), along Plum Street (by the church office), or on any of the side streets near the church.

Parking for those with a disability is also available in the parking lot facing Main Street. The entrance adjacent to those spots includes a ramp. All other Sanctuary entrances have steps leading to the doors, so we encourage you to park where you can come in to worship with ease.

In total, a Royse City Methodist Church service is about 60 minutes in length.

We offer two distinct worship services at Royse City Methodist Church.

Our 8:30am worship service is led by our volunteer praise team. We sing a lot of upbeat modern worship songs, but we also love to sing the old traditional hymns of the past.

Our 11am worship service uses the United Methodist Hymnal, drawing on a rich tradition of singing in the United Methodist Church. We love to share in the liturgies of the church.

Both worship services celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month. If you are visiting with us on a 1st Sunday, you are welcome to join us during communion. Our table is open to everyone- adults and children.



Sundays at Royse City Methodist Church are warm, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as a guest. You belong here.



We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at KidsFirst!, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children's safety. All of our KidsFirst! volunteers and leaders are background checked and Ministry Safe trained. You can feel at ease here.

The nursery is open for infants through three-year-olds for the entirety of both worship services. The nursery is located right next to the Sanctuary in Wesley Hall. We'd love to help you find your way there!

During worship, all children are invited forward for a quick, fun learning moment called Young Disciples Time. Parents, you are welcome to come with your children if you'd like. Immediately following Young Disciples Time, Children's Church is offered for children in Pre-K through 2nd grade. We will escort the kids next door to Wesley Hall for Children's Church. Children are always welcome to stay in the service...but we know little ones might sometimes enjoy more opportunities to move and explore. We're here to help you and your kids have a meaningful worship experience.

We hope your kids will join us for Sunday School at 9:45. Because we care so much about your children's safety, we have a detailed check-in process for our Kids First program the first time you visit. You'll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the KidsFirst! experience. Or, to save time on your first visit, you can preregister your child by visiting the KidCheck site. We use the KidCheck secure children's check-in program.
